The workshop will take place from the Mediterranean to the North Sea, from the Vitrolles Échangeur project to the GR2013 of Marseille-Provence 2013 - European Capital of Culture, from the outdoor theatre festival Oerol to daily life of the Frisian Islands.
How were gathering places designed and how are they inhabited day-to-day? In the course of two weeklong experiments the Observatorium Company will lead this architectural and performative research in its interactions with inhabitants and local institutions. The dialogue between the languages of architects, city planners, visual artists and performers leads to imagining concrete ways of developing public spaces.
