SANAGARE
As part of Nantes - Green Capital of Europe we constructed a temporary 10-metre tall observation tower within the remains of indsutrial buildings. It offers a new perspective on this neighbourhood, undergoing great development and transformation (site of the future university hospital and its 14-hectare/35-acre park).
It offers a reflection on public space, playing with past, present, and future uses of the site, in the hopes of creating a bridge between health and nature by the construction of two gardens – i.e., a sanatorium above the observation tower and a sand garden with plants and a promenade.
From june 15 on tuesday to sunday from 2:00 to 7:00 Pm next to Les Machines de l'Ile on Boulevard Prairie au ducs.
