German, dutch, italian and jordanian born designer, writers, architects and city planners proved just to be the right mix for an intense 10 day life in Katernberg, Essen; living in the Hermannstrasse and working at Zollverein. Life gets exciting when you live in environment you feel it could shift from normal to exceptional. The constant shift between familiar and strange defines and shakes your attitude. Living and working with strangers in a site that grows familiar is exhausting. Especially when you want to test on a one to one scale your phantasy for this site. We produced a radio station in an office, a home in the forest, a demonstration next to a demonstration, a fenced fence artwork, a provisional border, short stories around measurements, maps of animal and human life, natural preserve on a parking lot, a wooden floor under the trees, juice from park and an exhibition of emotions.
