After the Olympic games in 2012 the park is now open for the general public. Close to the view tower Orbit of Anish Kapoor Observatorium will be presenting in the park in the fall of 2014. Commissioned by the London Legacay Developoment Corporation a temporary structure will rise around the old 'Carpenters Lock'. The scultpure titled "Newton Cottage" celebrates not only the history of the waterways and canals in and around London but also arts&crafts that once where at the heart of this part of London. In collaboration with the Buildings and Crafts College the design is now being finalized.
